Achieving the 2ºC objective marked by the UN requires a much greater effort on the part of all countries involved. Following three years of stability, in 2017 greenhouse gas emissions increased, and if the trend continues towards the end of the century we will be facing global warming of 3ºC. According to the report, which is prepared every year, only 57 countries are on the path towards initiating a downward trend before 2030.
